Merlin Bronques

Mr. Poopy pants: you can find these girls wherever this guy goes. Find him and follow him. This guy takes the best party photos ever. Within seconds of meeting girls, he already has them in the bathroom, taking their clothes off, and photographing them. Check it out at www.lastnightsparty.com. The casual nature of his photos may cause you to miss the celebrities that frequent them. If you dig for awhile, you will see the likes of Kanye, Madonna, and David Bowie, to name a few. He also makes some decent electronic music, if you are into being a wanna be hipster like I am.

Porn

Have you ever been looking at porn, through your favorite site, and been redirected to another porn site. Normally I close the window, and try and re-open the link that I had clicked, because you've never seen a bush so hairy and had to a close up of it. Recently I was looking for some erotic photos of girls using croquet mallets, and I was blown away by the amount of porn on the web. If you go to your favorite site and allow yourself to be redirected, its not the same porn on every site just recycled. It's different girls, different videos, just all different.
This leads me to my point of the story, other than the internet is great, which is, where are all these girls? I realize a lot of them are foreign, so I know where they are, but where are these sluts that are willing to bang on film for probably 50 dollars? Where are these sluts and why don't we know them? Maybe they all heard about extreme weekend and are going? Is that possible? Can't a guy dream?

Mclovin or Ernsberger?

After recently watching "Superbad" I am convinced that the character McLovin is based purely off of John Ernsberger. It is a ridiculous similarity and as Rapach and I both commented, the resemblance only grows the more we get to know the character.

AMERICAN GLADIATORS!!!!!

Thats right folks. I have read that American Gladiators are makign a comeback on NBC. There is nothing like watching former college athletes and dorky rock climbers trying to get by/knock over, or joust against a roid raging body builder. I am so excited it isnt even funny. Maybe Pacman Jones and Mike Vick can get in on the action as prisoners fighting to get time knocked off their probation/sentence.

I hope it is just like the running man with the Govena of California.

Here is a reminder of the awesomeness that is American Gladiator.

Point/Counter-Point - "College / Life After College"

Friends,

It has come to my attention that there is a great litmus test of our yearning to re-live our college days vs. move forward and embrace our post-college lifestyle. This "line-in-the-sand", if you will, determines where your heart is. What might you ask will force us in to opposite corners? It happens to fall on the weekend of the 19th of October. Two great events: Bucknell Homecoming Weekend 2007 and The Hunt at Far Hills Racetrack.

Homecoming Weekend offers us the chance of rekindling prior friendships, sharing a beer at the former watering hole(s), throwing a beer against the wall, etc..

The Hunt offers us an all our drink fest at perhaps the greatest NJ Steeple Chase of the year. I know I have mentioned this day to many of you, Rapach and T-bone can back me up, but I do not lie when I say this was the craziest day I had outside of college.

I am truely torn, but after last year and the realization that life moves on at Bucknell, I am not as inclined to attend Homecoming as I was last year. This is mainly driven by the fact that Matt G. is no longer there and the class below us is no longer there.

Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Vick's going to the Doghouse

Well, it is now official. Michael Vick is going to be spending some time in the slammer. I really wonder how this will change the 'tude of sports athletes. Whichever way Goddell reacts to this situation, with regards to a league suspension/ban, will have huge ramifications and set the precedent.

In other news, we had a successful weekend here in Hokoken celebrating the birth of Matthew Gorney. You'll be happy to know that after a long night of being pleasure freaks, the Guitar Hero II party did not end until 6 in the morning, literally.

trippy

i don't know if this is too deep for this blog among cat pictures and books about drunken escapades, but this article is pretty interesting. there's this philosophical thought that there is a chance we are living in a computer simulation created by some future nerd. give it a read.

Packer Report

I just got back from Pittsburgh where I was able ot see the Packers/Steeler's preseason game. The Packers won 13-9, obviously but some key take-aways. Their defense is going to be very solid. They have great depth at the d-line (Cullen Jenkins, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamilia, Corey Williams, John Jolly, the list goes one) and some solid players at linebacker (A.J. Hawk and Nick Barnett) and cornerbacks (Charles Woodson and Al Harris). I don't want to get too excited but Aaron Rodgers, Favre's future replacement, looked good when commanding the offense.

With the 1st two weeks of the season playing some of those rascalliy NFC East teams (Philly then @ G-Men) I expect a solid start to the season.

Boo-yah.

Oh and everyone give a warm welcome to Mr. Gorney who is the newest citizen of NJ.

I would suggest for your listening pleasure; Matt Costa - Sunshine, great relaxing melody and Spoon - Underdog, this one will make you wonder what happened to Reel Big Fish.

Hamoa Beach

Speaking of beaches...

I'm hanging out up at the lake, and I have been enjoying this song quite a bit. I don't know much about the band Gomez, except they are english and they smell like cabbage. It's a real simple song with a good vibe.

And if this isn't your cup of tea, then I suggest "Invisible Touch" by Genesis...pricks.

It's everyone's favorite kitten

So I got an important phone call the other day from Brian Troast's "boo-bear" (Danielle) letting me know that his baby brother made a nice little video for me. (enough with the b's). I consider it a gift to all of us in honor of that great day when we discovered funny cat photos. I think we should probably invite him to come get all smabfaced with us. Anyway, please enjoy.

I'd also like to share these favorites.

Breaking the Girl

I was listening to this song this morning so i thought i would look up some fun facts since i am counting the minutes until i leave the building...

- Breaking the Girl Appears on Blood Sugar Sex Magik album
- The only song they ever recorded in the 6/8 time signature
- The music video was one of only 2 videos to feature Arik Marshall on guitar filling in for John Fursciante - but did not record the track

Since it was recorded in 1991, here are some fun facts from that year...
- Boris Yeltsen is 1st freely elected president of Russia
- The Buffalo Bills lost to the NY Football Giants in the Super Bowl!...by just 1 little point
(sorry Rapach...but not really)
- the Braves lost to the Twins in the World Series
- The Bulls beat the Lakers for the NBA Title
- And nobody cares about hockey...
- Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance was M.C. Hammer "U Can't Touch This"
- Fox is the first channel to allow condom ads on TV
- Pee Wee Herman is arrested for exposing himself in a movie theatre

Not the best post in the world, but i thought i would write something in my boredom. Continue the randomness...

i hope they serve beer in hell

i happen to share this same sentiment as my new hero, tucker max. i picked up his book which was recommended by a friend from home. i would suggest anyone else pick this up who is looking for the easiest read of their lives. i have often thought that if you put our idiot group of friend's combined collegiate experiences into a book or a movie, it would make some good money. that was until i saw what the competition would be. this crazy asshole recounts his college and grad school stories into a book, and it made the new york times bestseller list. i am only 100 pages into it, and hes already been banned for life from the embassy suites chain for shitting all over one of the lobbies, had sex in front of 30 people in a vegas casino bathroom, and had hicks from the south pull guns on him and his friends cause they called them fat inbreds too many times.

anyway thats my plug, i should get paid royalties from this guy

good call on the blog, brengel. hopefully the second time's the charm

Warble

After failed conversations with Doug in creating "ThatsNJ.com" and in preliminary conversations with Martin, Talbot and others about a music I wanted to create a blog where we could post just about anything we desire to inform each other about... Hence the subtitle "Beats, beaches, beers, bros, babes and more Bs to follow".

Post a song, or a beach or a beer, or a bro, or a babe, oBoma or another b or any other letter in the alphabet and we can get this thing rolling.

I have high expectations for Doug with this and quite low expecatations for Scott.

Anyways... was anyone else's face melted this past weekend?
