Friends,
It has come to my attention that there is a great litmus test of our yearning to re-live our college days vs. move forward and embrace our post-college lifestyle. This "line-in-the-sand", if you will, determines where your heart is. What might you ask will force us in to opposite corners? It happens to fall on the weekend of the 19th of October. Two great events: Bucknell Homecoming Weekend 2007 and The Hunt at Far Hills Racetrack.
Homecoming Weekend offers us the chance of rekindling prior friendships, sharing a beer at the former watering hole(s), throwing a beer against the wall, etc..
The Hunt offers us an all our drink fest at perhaps the greatest NJ Steeple Chase of the year. I know I have mentioned this day to many of you, Rapach and T-bone can back me up, but I do not lie when I say this was the craziest day I had outside of college.
I am truely torn, but after last year and the realization that life moves on at Bucknell, I am not as inclined to attend Homecoming as I was last year. This is mainly driven by the fact that Matt G. is no longer there and the class below us is no longer there.
Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Personaly, i have gone back for Homecoming the last 2 years adn it has been a great time. However at this point i dont know where i would sleep...i wont know anyone left in the fraternity...and most importantly i have not yet experienced the Hunt.
I think Homecoming gets to a point where you go back every few years to get a taste of what life used to be life. But that is just my opinion...i am eagerly awaiting your responses...
this damn weekend. i now have 4 things to do that weekend, so i will not be able to make it to either homecoming or the hunt.
i also have an uncles wedding and possibly a work trip all weekend. what is so damn special about october 20th weekend??
